All About Data: The new Platform for Training and Research in Artificial Intelligence and Data
All About Data presentation, an Innova-tsn and Rooter initiative to facilitate learning in Data and AI
The event, besides presenting a New teaching Methodology, focused mainly on Professional Profiles in the world of Data and Artificial Intelligence.
Madrid, 20 September 2023 – On 14 September, a new initiative focused on training and research in Artificial Intelligence and Data was presented at the Madrid Innovation Lab.
Its forerunners are Innova-tsn and Rooter, which combine their knowledge with the aim of covering the existing demand for this type of profile in the current market. Ignacio Barahona, Head of Data Value at Innova-tsn, presents this company, founded almost 20 years ago, which is an expert in designing and implementing intelligent solutions for Advanced Analytics. Its experience brings to this initiative the market knowledge that allows its training sessions to have a practical application that reflects what is really happening nowadays. Conrado Castillo, CEO at Rooter, presents this company, which since 2008, is an expert in the development of content and studies in the field of Digital Economy. With over 355,000 students trained with its contents, it provides a methodology which makes technical learning easier. From the union of these two companies comes All About Data which, as Laura Merlo, Head of Operations, says, is an initiative that conducts research and studies on trends which are later applied as case analyses to its training, using a learning-by-doing methodology. In addition, thanks to the development of a tool that maps the previous needs of individuals and companies, they can generate training itineraries that adapt training to the needs of each individual, including the development of soft, ethical and legal skills in all their programmes.
The forerunners of this initiative were accompanied by Carolina Martínez, Operations Manager at Innova-tsn.
Carolina Martínez explained the new types of projects that companies are facing, both to those present and to those who attended via streaming, highlighting, above all, the need for data processing and analysis at the core of all of them. She also explained which are the most important profiles in this field, indicating what exactly they do within an organisation, as well as the skills they need to develop.
Finally, the event was closed with a speech by Fernando de Pablo, CEO of the Digital Office of the Madrid City Council, who explained that they are working to put technology at the service of people and the growth of Madrid, promoting digital infrastructures such as data centres, communications and cybersecurity to create opportunities, strengthen competitiveness and provide sustainable development and quality of life for people, among other things. Moreover, he talked about the need to train profiles, both technical and non-technical, on various fields related to Artificial Intelligence and Data, not only focused on how to use tools or on how to code, but including what can be and cannot be done with data, how they are analysed, how they are viewed, in general, how everybody can take advantage of them. This is a message fully aligned with what All About Data proposes to do.
