Innova-tsn en Smart Data Spain Summit 2025
Smart Data Spain Summit 2025 held its 9th edition. This benchmark event in this field of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence has taken place one more time in Madrid, gathering companies and public organisations around the latest trends in data analysis and management.
With over 300 industry professionals there, the atmosphere was packed with energy and innovative ideas. It was a great opportunity to learn from other experts and share a networking space where we could connect with professionals, exchange ideas and discover technological solutions that are transforming the digital landscape. Without a doubt, it was an enriching experience to explore the real impact of data on companies.
At Innova-tsn we have been participating in #3SMadrid for years, reaffirming our commitment to innovation and the development of advanced solutions that optimise data-based decision making.
Roundtable: “Towards a modern data architecture”
In this edition, Julián Ricoy Hervada, Project Manager & Senior Consultant at INNOVA-TSN, had the pleasure of moderating the round table ‘Towards a modern data architecture’, a space for debate in which the different architectural approaches that are already shaping the future of the sector were analysed. For this, we had the participation of top-level professionals such as Rafael C. Socorro Hernández (ACCIONA), Alesander Gómez (BANCO SABADELL) and Unai Obieta Jimenez (PHONE HOUSE).
The experts explored the different models Data Mesh v. Data Lakehouse v. Hybrid Models, and which are the most appropriate depending on the context and business needs. In their talk, they also delved into the key tools and strategies necessary for an effective migration to these modern architectures, providing an in-depth view of how to effectively implement these technologies in our operations.
Finally, they had an intense debate about how decentralisation, a characteristic of Data Mesh, affects the quality and consistency of data, a matter of significant importance in guaranteeing the integrity and value of data analysis in our companies.
Conclusion: a future based on flexible and governed data
One of the key lessons learned at the event was that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach for all organisations. While Data Mesh promotes decentralisation, thus giving greater autonomy to business teams, Data Lakehouse allows us to maintain a more centralised model with advantages in performance and governance.
In addition, the need for well-defined strategies and appropriate tools to ensure data quality in any architecture was emphasised, guaranteeing that business decisions are based on reliable information.
At Innova-tsn we would like to thank IFAES for the flawless organisation of this event, as well as the speakers who contributed to enriching the debate with their experience and knowledge and, of course, to all those who attended the conference.
Participation in these types of events not only helps us reinforce our position in the market but also provides us with an excellent platform for sharing and connecting with other professionals in the industry. And, without a doubt, they are a reminder of the impact that our work has outside the four walls of our company.
Innova-tsn has been actively participating in the Smart Data Spain Summit for years and we will continue committed to innovation in data and artificial intelligence to help companies face the challenges of the future.
