Innova-tsn inaugurates its new office

Innova-tsn has selected the Bisalia building in the Science and Technology Park (PCTCAN) to establish a new business office, with the aim of having a team of 50 highly skilled workers in the field of technology and mathematics within the next three years.

Innova-tsn, a technology consulting company founded in 2004, has nearly 300 employees spread across its offices in Madrid, Barcelona, London, Mexico City, and Bogotá. Over the past 18 years, the company has established itself as a leader in the design, implementation, and maintenance of smart business solutions, particularly in the area of advanced analytical solutions. It currently provides end-to-end services in the areas of Data Value, Big Data and Advanced Analytics, Customer Centricity, and Platform Engineering and Cloud.

According to a statement released by the regional government, Innova-tsn has been growing steadily since its inception and has expanded in both the national and international markets. Regional Minister for Industry and Innovation, Javier López Marcano, welcomed this new addition and emphasized that Innova-tsn’s commitment to Cantabria and the PCTCAN will contribute to the park’s ecosystem, create jobs and wealth, and attract and retain talent.

In line with this, he highlighted the company’s job creation forecast and stated that its growth aspirations align with those of the Science and Technology Park, as outlined in the recently published Strategic Plan for the period 2022-2025.

López Marcano also pointed out that the PCTCAN continues to work on attracting new business projects to Cantabria, such as Innova-tsn, while also making progress in the development of new infrastructure to accommodate more companies.

Innova-tsn joins the 70 companies currently located in the PCTCAN ecosystem, where 3,500 workers carry out their activities, with at least 800 of them involved in R&D&I-related activities. The new work center at the PCTCAN will focus on the development of data-related work from a mathematical, statistical, methodological, and technological perspective, with the goal of building decision-making systems for contexts with large volumes of data, in real-time and IoT. This requires a highly qualified team with expertise in technology, mathematics, and business, who will research and explore cutting-edge techniques and tools in the fields of Data Science, Cloud, and Big Data. The team will also design and develop innovative and high-value use cases for the market in various sectors such as Energy, Commercial Systems, Retail, Banking, and Insurance, and provide expert operation and maintenance services for solutions.

Innova-tsn works with customers who are at the forefront of data exploitation and innovation, such as El Corte Inglés, Repsol, Iberdrola, Naturgy, Banco Sabadell, Caixa, Janssen, Telefónica, and others. Currently, an average of 58% of employees are involved in projects considered as research and R&D&I.

Thanks to its involvement in cutting-edge projects with these customers, research in its Analytics and Big Data laboratory, and the creativity of its solutions, Innova-tsn has received numerous awards and recognitions from customers, technology partners, and competitions, such as the Iberdrola Supplier of the Year Award 2018 in Competitiveness and Innovation and the SAS Award for Best Partner in the EMEA Region 2018. Additionally, the company won the SAS Hackathon 2022 in the Energy category and was ranked in the top 3 in the IoT category.
