Innova-tsn joins Iberdrola’s Global Smart Grids Innovation Hub

Innova-tsn, a consulting firm specialised in the integral data lifecycle, has joined Iberdrola’s Global Smart Grids Innovation Hub. Located in Bilbao, it works as an innovation powerhouse integrating Iberdrola’s technological capacity with that of over 100 collaborating organisations and companies the hub consists of.
The aim of this space is to promote the development of R&D&I projects led by leading companies and professionals to solve the challenges of the electricity networks of the future, such as greater digitisation, the processing of the data generated by these infrastructures and the response, in terms of robustness and flexibility, of the electricity network to new consumption models, such as electric mobility and self-consumption.
In 2024, R&D&I projects have been registered for a total estimated investment of 42 million euros in Iberdrola Redes España. All of them are focused on developing solutions for grid digitalisation, integration of renewable energy, deployment of electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
